Meet Our Staff

Woodley is a 2010 alumnus of American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service (AAMI) in New York City, where he earned his degree in mortuary science. He later completed an executive certificate program in corporate sustainability at NYU and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Funeral Services Administration from SUNY Canton. In April 2024, he earned the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner. In 2025 Woodley was appointed to the Advisory Board at AAMI.

A lifelong resident of lowa Falls, Woodley has served as a dedicated volunteer with the Hardin County Emergency Squad for 27 years and currently holds an officer position. He is also an active member and past officer of the lowa Falls Elks Lodge #1674 and serves on the City of lowa Falls Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Board. Before acquiring his funeral homes, Woodley worked for several years as a lead communications supervisor with the lowa State Patrol's Interoperability Communications Bureau.

He is a member of the Ackley Country Club and the Des Moines Embassy Club. His professional affiliations include the lowa Funeral Directors Association, the National Funeral Directors Association and the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

Brianne was born and raised in Mason City, graduating with the Mohawk class of 1997. She then attended North Iowa Area Community College and the University of Northern Iowa, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in education, with an emphasis on communication, leadership and team strategy. Her career experience includes sales management, program directing, technology management, and corporate leadership. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Psychology of Leadership from Cornell University. She currently resides in Hampton.

Brianne has over a decade experience in funeral home ownership, management, and operations. She plans to continue her professional development with Cornell University.

Lance started his journey in the funeral field at the age of 17 working in Marshalltown for Mitchell Family Funeral Home. After graduating East Marshall High School in 2009 with honors, Lance attended Mortuary School at DMACC in Ankeny and became a Licensed Funeral Director in 2016 while continuing to serve Marshalltown. In 2019, Lance took a position at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care in Ames, Iowa. In August of 2025 he had the opportunity to move to the Hampton area to be closer to his family and he joined Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory.

Lance enjoys cooking new dishes with his wife, Katie, who teaches family consumer science in Iowa Falls, and daughter Tovri, playing with their two dogs Summer, and Dani. In the warmer months you can find him on the local golf courses or tending to his lawn. During farming season, he trades in his suit for a few days to help his family on their farm in Dumont.

Lance is excited to be in the community that his family has called home for over a century.
